Hate to be "that guy" that points out the darkest scenario, but a hamster can't get into a microwave on it's own. You should probably sit your child down and have a talk about why pets don't belong in the appliances.

Hooo boy, um…I would suggest you NOT let her see what has become of the poor thing… Also, dogs are less likely to be lost in the house and explode in the microwave
