Today, my husband accidentally erased some pictures from our hard drive. No worries, nothing major: just everything from our wedding and the birth of our first child. FML

Deleted files are quite easily recovered. Don't save anything on that hard drive. There is software to help and companies.

Have you checked the Recycling Bin? It's saved me a few times. (Unless your husband emptied that as well.)

Always remember to back up OP! Or upload to a website like Snapfish or even Facebook so they're on a website you can access from anywhere.

It should still be in your recycle bin if you deleted it on a computer..... You can go in and select the whole folder, right click, and press 'restore'. Hope he didn't empty that as well, or they are really gone forever :(
