Today, my girlfriend got mad at me after she came over and found a female friend sleeping in my bed upstairs. I was sleeping on the couch in the basement. FML

First of all, any female friend sleeping in your bed, regardless of where you're sleeping at, is a big no-no, especially when your girlfriend isn't even in the house. Secondly, the fact that you didn't even let your girlfriend know about it beforehand, makes the whole situation even worse. For all we know, you could've cheated on your girlfriend, and then just slept in the basement to make it seem like you didn't. I actually think it's Fyourgirlfriend'sL, not FYL. I'm sure many people are on your girlfriend's side in this case, sorry to say.

I would have been upset too if my boyfriend had another girl sleeping in his bed regardless of where he was sleeping. I'm a jealous person I trust him but I'm a jealous person she could be the same way too it's the other girls you can't trust sometimes

It's the fact that some girls like to pretend to be one thing then take advantage of the situation at hand and guys can be raped too guys aren't the only ones capable of it. Some girls are very devious and have other plans especially seeing how my ex best friend tried pulling stuff like that there is a thing called trusting your significant other but not trusting how certain people act if that girl asked to sleep in his bed she more than likely was trying to set something up even when she knew her friend had a boyfriend

Well no crap dude. A bed is a sacred place. You don't let someone sleep there if you aren't in a relationship with that person.

the girl in me wants to side with her, but my best friend is a guy. we've been friends for ten years and it's most definitely caused problems on our intimate relationships. but when you see us together you can tell that we have bond more like a brother and a sister. people seem to forget that members of the opposite sex can be friends and nothing more.

YDI mate. I would have dumped you on the spot. There's a difference between "hey babe my friend needs a place to stay so im letting you know right now, if you want you can come over too so you can be sure theres nothing weird going on" and "oh ya btw my friend is upstairs she stayed over" Communicate next time, otherwise you're kinda slim shady.

You can't do things like that. You are going to lose your girlfriend, women aren't ok with that kind of thing. If she didn't break up with you then you are lucky.

Can't feel sorry for you. I'd be furious if I found a girl in my Mans bed. You should have asked her permission or at least you sleep in your bed and the friend downstairs in the basement. Not the other way around .
