Today, my friend called me, still mad about his car being in the ditch. He let his girlfriend drive it (they were both drunk) and she got it stuck in the ditch, luckily no one was hurt but this is what he told me "It's all your fault cause you wouldn't DD for me!" I was drunk too! FML

Remind him that taxicabs, Uber and Lyft are all things that exist. If he's got extra money to burn by going out to get wasted, he can afford to set aside $10 to get home safe.

Drunk or sober, it is _not_ your responsibiilty to get your friend home. Do him a favour when you can by all means but he can't pin it on you if he does something stupid.

Wtf. Ok, you did the right thing by not getting involved in that when you were drunk too and it's definitely their fault for going ahead anyways and starting up the car. If he's gonna be mad let him, he'll have to get over himself eventually
