Today, my dad excitedly yelled, "I have a present for you!" and threw me a plastic box. The box contained a battery powered nose hair trimmer. I'm a girl. FML

What does being a girl have to do with it? Is it somehow magically acceptable for men to have nose hair and not for women? Nose hair grows for both gender, it's not like boobs, just trim it.

Today, I got home to my daughter in tears because her dad decided 5 was the ideal age to tell her the chicken, bacon, and mince she eats every day comes from dead chickens, piggies, and moo cows. Today, I fitted a new shower hose and head, and it went perfectly, until it sprang a leak in the middle of the night, which completely missed the bath and went right onto the floor. We were asleep, so it went for hours, half the house is now soaking wet, and will need redecorating and new carpets FML
