This dude is on his mother's leash at the age of 24? Basically...run!
There's so many things wrong with this. How does he think that will work? If you need to hide it, there will never be a full commitment. How will you ever live together, what about if you want to get married or have kids? Is he going to hide all of that from his parents too? Also, he broke up with you in a note and by leaving suddenly, instead of talking to you face to face, and he can't stand up to his mom for both his own happiness and yours. This all points to that he's a major coward, cut your losses OP, he's not worth it.
Thats stupid. Sorry about that
Is his name Norman Bates by any chance?
The fact that you say "yet again" definitely makes me feel a little less sympathetic towards your situation. This obviously isn't the first time you've been through something like this with your significant other. You're either incredibly ignorant in thinking your situation with him will change, or you have no self respect, in which case, I pity you. Either way, think of this as your second coming; an attempt to move on and actually find a committed partner.
My boyfriend did this to me. We were 11 at the time. Sorry OP, he needs to grow up.
Sorry OP... I had to deal with my bf doing the same thing. Now hes my hubby and she cant do anything about it.
