Today, my boyfriend and I went to the local park for some romantic time together. By the time we left, I'd been called a pedo and a cradle robber, and been given several dirty looks. I'm 31. My boyfriend is 30 and just very baby-faced. FML

Males generally don't look their age as much as women do I feel like. It could also mean your boyfriend is a hottie so congrats.

Maybe some facial hair would help? Besides that, try to ignore the stares. As long as you're not doing anything wrong, then you shouldn't need to feel insecure, and those people can mind their own business.

That is when you both pull out ID and make them feel like horrible human beings.

What kind of park was this? Sounds like people went looking for a cougar and found you! Lol.

There's an old saying that I live by: "**** what people have to say." Helps me deal with the seemingly endless stream assholes in my big city. As long as you're in love, be glad.

It sounds like he's more than just baby faced, does he dress a certain way to make himself look super young? Or do you happen to dress or carry yourself in a fashion that makes you look older? I just feel like a baby face alone wouldn't spur people to say rude things..

If there is one thing I have learned from FML (and life) it is this; people don't need to be spurred into saying rude things. It seems to come naturally and without provocation.

I'm 30 but look 16. My boyfriend is 42. I don't even worry about it anymore. I actually enjoy the shock on people's face when they realize we are a couple.

Well in all fairness you were in a park.. tell him to start playing on the playground that should really raise some eyebrows.

Yes, he's 30....or IS he? *dun dun dunnnnnn* (j/k, I'd believe it. I'm 25 but I still run into people who think I'm 16-18).
