Today, mom decided to flex her authoritative muscles by kicking my brother out, stating her claim as legal owner of the house under conjugal property (dad is no longer with us). Later, she told me to beg him to come home. Guess she remembered that he's the bread winner and we're all freeloaders. FML

I personally wouldn't. Let your mother suck up some pride and beg him to come back herself.

OP: By all means, beg the brother to come back so YOU won't have to become a breadwinner, and hope that he doesn't realize that everyone in his family, including you, is a parasite.
