Today, it was my big sister's birthday, and I was told the iPod I ordered her online was not coming due to a mix up. I drove to three different electronic stores before I found the one she wanted. After spending forever in traffic, I came home to find a package on my doorstep. It was her iPod. FML

That was very sweet of you to go to all that trouble for your sister. You must love her very much. Now shut the **** up and return the goddamn thing.

So the company that delivered the iPod just left it on your door step for anyone to see and take? I don't believe that. If you're not home you have to pick it up.

Not true. The purchaser must indicate that someone needs to sign for it when they deliver it, otherwise, it'll be left in a safe/consealed place on the porch/doorstep.

UPS and FedEx do this all the time. I routinely come home to packages left on my doorstep. I guess that's what the package insurance is for.

I once had my passport delivered by FedEx left at my doorstep. I hadn't realised till then that passports would be delieverd without signature, otherwise, I'd have sent a self-addressed certified post envelope while applying for the visa (there was no option for signature on delivery if we chose their delivery method). So, yes - some posts are delivered at the doorstep.

So? Just return the one you bought at the store, if you weren't stupid enough to throw away the receipt
