Today, I wore a beautiful new dress that I got for £5 only in a sale. I've been turning heads in it all day. When I got home, my mum pulled the massive red £5 tag off of the back. FML

the FML in this, is taht she felt real confident because she was turning heads and that sorta got crushed because it turned out the turning heads had nothing to do with looking good not that she had a tag on her dress

I didn't know prostitutes wore price tags! That should make the comparison shopping a little easier!! I think the FML is just the sheer embarrassment and humiliation of leaving a tag on the dress. She can never show her face in public again! ...Where's the "I don't care" button?

This is fake. Know why? The tag was on her back. Nobody turns around to see if they're "turning" someone's head, and at that moment the stranger be turned around looking at your back side, and this exact exchange happening many, many times that day. Knowing the tag's on her back, just try to visualize this FML even happening. It doesn't, it's extremely unrealistic. It's not even an FML to begin with...a **** My Day at the very most.

well, smartypants, ever thought of the possibility that she was walking by people who were looking at her the exact moment she passed them? It is very likely that in such a situation such a tag will be noticed and people turn their heads. Moreover, in such a situation you don't need to turn your head to notice that people are turning their heads.

@OP: Damn, what kind of a girl are you? I mean...I've heard of guys who don't wash their newly bought clothes before they wear them, but usually girls have enough sense for hygiene to do that! If you had washed your dress, you'd have noticed the tag. Therefore, YDI!

Huh? I'm a girl and I don't wash brand new clothes before wearing them. I don't know of anyone that does, except for a friend of mine who is severely OCD. Unless they're from a second-hand shop or something, I think you can safely assume the clothes are clean
