Today, I woke up to the sound of my little sister knocking on my door. Today's my birthday, so I thought she'd surprise me with something. Instead, she just asked me, "How's it feel to be a year older and still alone?" I just turned 20. The truth hurts. FML

Bruh, i love holding peoples hand and all that squishy stuff B) but since elementary school, ive never felt comfortable to the thought of dating. Tried it on both genders multiple times and still didnt like the feeling :( i really do hope this isnt a phase.

I get that you feel "down" about the whole thing, but you're only 20. Life becomes so much more complicated when you add another person. Have fun. Enjoy your time with yourself. Watch the movies you want, go to the events you want, eat the food you want. Because someday it's going to be "what do you want to do?" "I don't know what do you want to do?" And going to the bathroom just to get a minute to yourself. I know, I'm married with 3 kids and my mother-in-law lives with me in a 3 bedroom house with one bathroom. Don't rush life, enjoy it.

Only an asshole wouldn't understand that a lot of people live at home for an extended period of time. A lot of families like to keep their kids close until they get married and have a family to move in with because it helps save money. They see moving out as a waste of time and money. Don't be a douche if you don't know all parts of the story.
