Today, I woke up to my head being covered by a pissy diaper, a pile of pee not even an inch from my face and a naked 14 month old. I got up to get my glasses, she broke the arms. I got up to get a towel, on my way i was greeted by a lovely pile of shit. Her reaction? She laughed and ran away. FML

How did any of that not wake you up? When my kids were that age they would crawl out of their beds and that was enough to wake me. How have you not learned to sleep with your ears open yet? YDI.

This is why you pay attention to what your kid is doing. You never sleep if they are awake. Ever.

either you fell asleep during the day leaving your kids dangerously unsupervised or you lack safety features in your house. either way ydi

Or, you know, small children are extremely adept at getting past safety features because their innate curiosity drives them to do things that adults wouldn't think of.

Another reasons on the long list of "why I have 0 desire to have kids in any manner." Sounds like you're going to have to move a lot of your important items out of reach, and possibly invest in a way to lock the demon spawn in a room. Good luck with that .
