it wouldn't do any good. the way u haul run some reservations crooked as hell. as in if you make a reservation and don't pick it up on time you get a fee but they don't are any kind of effort to make sure your reservation will be there. it's a company wide customer service issue
I'm fairly certain that, if U Haul as a whole does things like this, it does become something that could potentially become a legal issue, if enough people who this happened to were to group together. If it happens on a company wide scale and the people to whom it happened got records and such, there's likely someone that the company could be reported to. Putting that aside, OP should still go up the chain of command, because if they DON'T try, they definitely won't get any reparations. Best to at least try.
A letter to corporate headquarters should do nicely. Play your cards right and you might get a "freebie".
Definitely go to a higher-up about this OP. That's complete BS that they did that to you.
