Today, I went to a McDonald's drive-thru in just a shirt and underwear, thinking I wouldn't be seeing anyone. I got into a car crash. FML

Honestly YDI. Who the hell goes driving and thinks that maybe not having a pair of pants could be a bad idea? Also, do you not realize that those McDonald's people don't want to see your Barney the dinosaur boxers? No wonder they want $15/hr. They'll need it to get psychiatric help.

Not a great idea anyway, because unless you're in a big up truck, the drive through worker would be able to see.

How hard is it to quickly put on a pair of pants? Silly bugger. YDI.

You could have at least put pajama pants on. YDI

I'm a bit conflicted here, I'm not sure if it's totally a ydi or fyl. So, I answered both. Here's why: Maybe I missed it, but I don't think it said that OP was the one to cause an accident. Someone could have easily drove into him/her while s/he was driving very carefully as to avoid having to get out of the vehicle. In this case, it's still silly to go pantless, but is it a ydi if it wasn't necessarily your fault for having to get out of the car? Maybe a little of both. Also, I could maybe see someone in a truck not putting on pants, I don't think anyone would avoid pants if they were in a lower vehicle knowing people could still see them. Still silly, but again, when I did it, I kept this in mind. So with it being something I'm guilty of, I'm a little understanding, but even I know it's a bad idea. Either way, next time always wear pants. I can't say I'm not guilty of this, so I can't be one to judge, but I always know I'd be at fault for not wearing any. There is ALWAYS a chance of someone driving into you or you getting pulled over. So best to play it safe and cover up.

who cares, drivings your own peace of freedom until you get pulled over or get in an accident :( the shit I've seen people do behind the wheel is amazeballs

Looks like you don't ascribe to dressing everyday like you're going to meet the love of your life.

According to moms everywhere, as long as your underwear is clean you're okay.

My mom always says wear shoes when you drive because you never know if you'll get in an accident and have to step out the car

My mother always told me to wear nice underwear in case of an accident. I guess she was concerned about what the EMT would think.

If the accident is bad enough that an EMT is going to see them, they won't be nice (,or clean) anymore.

I know you're right lol. I never understood it myself.
