Today, I was supposed to be moving in with my girlfriend, something we been looking forward to for months. Instead, she decided this afternoon that she NEEDS to spend the weekend in Vegas with friends, but I can still move my stuff. FML

What are the odds that she'd have to travel just when you move in? Has she really been looking forward to you moving in, or just going along with it?

This is stupid. If I got offered a trip to Vegas for the weekend with my bros you bet your ass I'd ditch my gf for a couple days. Don't be such a clingy asshole. If she's moving in with you, you're about to spend a hell of a lot of time together anyway. Just chill for the weekend and show her how much she means to you and how much you trust her/ respect her decisions by not being an idiot. She's allowed to have a life outside of you.
