Today, I was planning to take it easy with workout, coffee, good food and a couple movies. When suddenly my girlfriend calls me and says her family of father, aunt and grandma is coming for a stay-over visit. Straight without any notice in advance. Now I'm stuck getting the place presentable. FML.

Not cool, even if your girlfriends family are great people to be around, to be blindsided with 3 overnight houseguests, NOT COOL. I am just curious if she knew beforehand, if she did, that's even worse, if not, it seems like something you would discuss with your housemate/partner/boyfriend, rather than just allowing it to happen.

Today, I walked downstairs in a new outfit, after dieting for 3 months, and losing just over 20 pounds. My mom took one look at me and said "You'd better keep going." FML

Today, I was lying on the couch when saw the Airheads commercial where a jump-roping construction worker falls and lands on his nuts and says, in a deadpan tone, "Oh my goodness." A few minutes later, my cat jumped from the table and landed on my nuts, and I said, "Oh my goodness" with the very same inflection. FML

Today, I thought the cashier said the new blouse I picked out was ugly as she was ringing me up. I'm really self-conscious about my fashion sense, so I snapped and started yelling at her. It wasn't until she was close to tears did I find out she said "lovely" not "ugly". So, that's another store I can't go back to. FML

Today, I was home alone and I started to sing Halo by Beyonce. I was starting to get into it and began singing with more passion until the phone rang. It was my neighbor begging me to please shut the hell up. FML
