Well, the good news is you lost some weight!
look at the bright side: if you'd dropped the cake, your son would've been sad. and a belt is much cheaper than the cake. also you lost weight, so congrats!!
Were you at least wearing cute underwear?
They were granny panties. But at least they had pretty colors! And I guess granny panties don't reveal any more than a swimsuit, so I got lucky as far as that goes.
Aww I'm having the same problem. My only belt is broken and I've been losing weight, so my pants are all too big. I can't afford a new belt or pants at the moment, so I have to be extra careful. At least you're losing weight though! :)
I know it is not the real deal but as someone who has lost weight recently I have a tip for you: if you cannot afford new clothes yet, try to mend the ones you already own! I usually take the sides of my pants, fold them over (it's hard to describe without pictures but you fold the side vertically not horizontally) so they overlap and with a needle and some thread stitch them together at the top. Voilá, the pants won't fall down anymore! Make sure you wear a little more baggy T-shirts or blouses over it because it will show under a tight-fit top. I hope I could help.
Good tip #6. thanks!
Also, you can use a piece of rope or a shoelace instead of a belt. Another, quite comfy fix: wind rubber bands around the two front belt loops and hook them on the button.
at least you didn't drop the cake! :)
Kudos to you for both the weight loss and being that dedicated to making your kid's birthday a good one.
