Today, I was coming home from college for the winter break and I was excited for a nice home cooked meal. When I walked into my parents house I learned that we would be enjoying pinecone and acorn soup with a side of lettuce. This is not what I expected when I suggested they should eat healthy. FML

Today, while I was giving a school presentation about life as an injured, deformed soldier, someone asked if the reason I wear an eyepatch is because I'm a pirate. I wouldn't have minded, had I not been presenting to high-school students. FML

Today, I got the silent treatment from my boyfriend because my high waisted sweatpants accidentally slipped a little when I bent down, just as my creepy neighbor happened to walk by and my thong was exposed a little.
