Today, I was asleep and at about 2:30am I was woken up to the sound of crying through my son's baby monitor. Half asleep I walk into his room and to my surprise he is sound asleep. Thinking nothing of it I went back to my room. I still hear crying through the monitor so I go back...he is asleep. Fml

check to see if the monitor is picking up another signal. sometimes they can read from other homes, like walkie-talkies do.

Did you think to take the monitor with you to see if its actually your kid or not crying?

Sounds like a scene from a horror movie. Get in touch with 1- baby monitor guys to change frequencies, 2- With a shrink if (1) doesn't help; you could be suffering from same syndrome as people who keep hearing their phones ring even when the phones are switched off, 3- your priest to conduct a prayer/ exorcism if 1&2 don't help, and 4- a realtor if 1,2&3 fail.
