Today, I visited my parents with my four year old. My son started to excitedly tell his grandmother about the prospect of us getting a dog when we move into out new house next month. My mum promptly turned around and told me "that's a stupid idea, you can't look after a child let alone a dog." FML

Wait. Your mom think the dog is the harder of the two to care for? ...Exactly what drugs is she on? I'm also inclined to believe that she herself was a pretty shitty mother if she had the gall to say that. She couldn't have played the "flat emotionally abusive mother" role any more accurately. You sound like both you and your son would be better off far and away from this withered-hearted crone.

On the way there, I got $200 worth of traffic tickets for not stopping at a stop sign. I basically spent $200 because I prefer yellow highlighters over blue ones. FML
