Today, I tried to invite my grandma on my bio-dad's side, to my wedding and ask her for his address so that I can invite him too. Instead of congrats she replied with, "You are an ungrateful child" and went on to tell me about how much I abuse my "Father". He abandoned me and my brother at 14. FML

Never underestimate the power of humans to lie to themselves. You've run up against some whopper that grandma has been telling herself for decades and, unfortunately, you aren't going to change her world-view with something as tiny as the truth.

Today, I crashed my brother's car. All my friends know about this and not a single person has ask if I'm OK, even my dad and brother don't seem to be worried about me. Only my mother and I are sad because I don't know how to pay for a new car, the old one is in pieces. Thank god I'm alive but maybe dead would've been better. FML
