Today, I tried hooking up my girlfriend's TV to my brand-new $1000 computer so I could show her Toy Story for the first time. It wouldn't work. Desperate to get my childhood up on the screen, I quickly downloaded a driver update and restarted the computer. Now nothing works. FML

This is exactly what system restore is used for, OP.

This just happened to me and I had to spend $100 and bring my behemoth computer into town. Just be careful when ******* with your drivers and don't do anything different from what you always do. .-.

You shouldn't mess with technology unless you really know what you are doing. Honestly an HDMI cable should have easily done the trick without having to download any drivers since it was a brand new computer. For me YDI

I would just return the computer since it is brand new. clearly something it wrong with the product and you would save a lot more time than reimaging your pc
