Sorry OP, I feel bad for your boyfriend losing his job but he can't just disappear like that he probably had you guys worried sick.

He sounds like he's under a lot of pressure. Sleeping in his car.. It definitely hit him hard. Hope he doesn't usually ignore people like that because lack of communication can be very unhealthy. But if it's just a one time thing then I feel super bad for him. Hope you and him are feeling better OP!

That sounds like depression. It's common for people suffering from depression to isolate after a blow like that.

I agree with the person who said its depression. He probably just shut down, especially since he has you and a baby to support. Being laid off with a child is awful... I hope he's able to get back on his feet quickly.

I found out after a trip to the mental hospitals that I have depression, and I do that a lot. I just don't look at my phone for a while, and my friend used to get worried. Now she's pissed, so she doesn't get very worried right now.

He slept in his car because he was so ashamed of losing his job, but somehow that means YOUR life sucks? Grow up.
