I don't know why some of you think this isn't a FML for the OP, however, I think the OP deserved it. As a parent, if MY child said something like that in public, I'D be extremely embarrassed, because I'M the one responsible for teaching my child what is acceptable to say and polite behavior. It says a lot about how good of a parent I am. The OP has every right to be embarrassed and say FML, but since it's the OP's kid, and the OP raised her, it's the OP's fault for not teaching her to know better.
