Today, I spent nearly half an hour looking for my favourite pair of shoes. I ended up getting so pissed off that I accused my boyfriend of stealing them. He then pointed out that I was wearing them. FML

Today, I found ladies knee-high socks that weren't mine. I don't even own a pair of knee-high socks. After bickering back and forth with my boyfriend, he said, "Actually now that you mention it, I thought they were yours and I put them there." FML

Today, I came home to find that my dog had chewed up my brand new, expensive pair of shoes. I was so angry that I yelled at him and he cowered in fear. But then, as I looked at his sad little face, it dawned on me that I was the one in the wrong for getting so upset over something materialistic. FML

Wow.... YDI why would a guy steal women's shoes? To be fair people do this with cellphones and keys, but shoes... come on. I say "appears to have poor short term memory" since you had to have put them on and tie the laces when you put them on.

Sorry OP, none of these comments are very nice. Although you did what you did, I don't blame you for it because I'm sure you were feeling very stressed by that point and accidentally, just out of impulse, accused him of stealing your shoes. I'm glad you found them though, and hope your boyfriend understood.

Even if the shoes had actually been stolen, why would you blame your boyfriend of all people? I don't understand how you didn't notice you were wearing them while you were searching for them. The floor IS a pretty common place to look for shoes.
