Today, I saw my girlfriend at the store and joyfully greeted her. She got really mad at me - it was her identical twin sister, who I still cannot tell apart from my girlfriend. We've been dating for three years. FML

Today, it’s my girlfriend’s birthday. I took her out to her favorite restaurant to celebrate. The waitress serving us looked oddly familiar but I didn’t think anything of it until she said when we collected the check, “Aren’t you my sister’s husband?” I forgot she had a younger sister who worked here. FML

Today, I saw my girlfriend walking hand-in-hand down the street with another man. When I confronted her, she claimed she had no idea who I was, and the guy told me to beat it. Later on, she returned to our apartment and actually tried to act as if nothing had happened. FML

Don't feel bad, my mother is a triple with one fraternal twin and one identical twin sister and it took me awhile to tell her and my aunt, Rosemerrie, apart by sight when I was young. But, they have similar voices and personalities oddly enough, so, it wasn't that easy and caused a lot of embarrassment when I had to ask which one was my mommy.
