Today, I realized that my alcoholism has gotten so bad that I rotate liquor stores so the clerks don't think bad about me. FML

The first step to getting better is realizing your problem. Now you just have to get help to fully get better. You can do it!

I do the same thing too...guess i'm not the only one

Um that's not really acholism. My dad does that all the time and he's not a acholic. It's just so the people DON'T think you are, but u should still get help for even thinking you are one.

i cant believe how ignorant and uneducated some people can be. alcoholism is serious and it is very difficult to overcome. it is serious and people are being assholes for talking smack. OP...it might be hard, but u should get help. ive been there and i know what its like, remember u are not alone :)

IDU... Never be more than 12 steps away from your fridge... Call dial-a-bottle and stay away from the liquor store... No rotation needed!

you're not fooling anyone except yourself. you know you are ruining your brain don't you?

do the same thing for my 2am nightly del taco runs because I don't want them to think I'm a complete stoner...

please contact your local chapter of AA... you don't have to live a miserable existence of shame and remorse. I drank for 30 years and have not had a drink now for 21 months... feels good. AA saved my life.

Do you look for the almost empties at parties to finish them off? Do you offer to get drinks for others so you can sneak an extra one in at the bar or while you're making one for them? Rotating merchants is just one of our sneaky little tricks. I've been sober for well over a year now thanks to a moment of true clarity and Schick Shadel. Even when I checked in I didn't honestly think there would be a day I wouldn't want or need it. Now, it's hard to imagine I lived that way and truly thought it was sustainable. I have NO desire to drink, not a moment, not a day. Be good to yourself. Choose life. Check out www.schickshadel.com.
