Today, it seems that Jehovah's witnesses are bringing recruits to my house to test them. While I've studied theology as a hobby, I'm an uneducated stay at home mom to 3 kids. I guess I'm entertaining; but really I'm extremely lonely and they've been the only adults I've talked to in a week. FML

At least you have a topic of conversation that's of interest to you and to them. The impression I get when they show up at my place is that, for them, that's pretty rare.

You have a deep need to talk to adults, and they have a need to spread their religion. On the human level, you both appreciate the positive interaction. Bonus for you because it's a topic you enjoy! I was a stay at home mom for a year when my son was an infant, and my best friend since childhood is a Witness. So I've got empathy and understanding of both situations here.
