Op here. Just for clarity I am in shape, I do own a cat but he doesn't exactly solve bedtime loneliness, i do have a roomate but shes on winter break. Comes down to shyness and social awkwardness which I'm working on. And needing to get laid...Also working on it. But thanks for the suggestions.

You need to get out and meet people. If you're a shy person you can try online dating, but beware the freaks! There's lots of them. Go to a bar and introduce yourself to people, ask friends or family to set you up with someone. Humans are social creatures by nature, if you're always alone it'll bring you down. Even hanging out with people from work is a good idea.
You could adopt an online cat
I actually have a cat but anyone with a cat knows they only give attention when they want to, he spends most of the day sleeping=P
I actually do share an apartment with someone but we've been on winter break for the last month so I've had the place to myself. Though she doesn't have the exact comfort I need if you know what I mean...
Go out, go to a gym, meet new people and get in shape.
Invite your naighbor over for a cup of tea sometime :)
If OP can't get a larger animal such as a dog or cat. Two guinea pigs would be great, mine follow me around and run up to me when I pass their cage. Since they're social animals they love interacting but you need two. A small rabbit is great too, they are nearly as smart as cats and easy to litter train.
Get a cat! :)
It is time to have a partner as long as u feel comfort to hear ur neighbour. U er much better than many people who do not like to socialise with others !!
12am thinking about my life, while trying to fall asleep, moment of clarity.

At least that's the ONLY thing you hear him doing. Or is it?
