I know she's just making an empty threat to try and scare you, but honestly- how was she planning to explain this in small claims court? "Judge, I demand compensation!" -"For what?" "For the money I did not pay to my nanny!" -"No...what?... no, you can only be compensated for things that are owed TO you, not owed BY you." "Then I demand compensation for being Slandered! She said she would sue if OP asked for her paycheck. That means she would sue if she paid OP so the last paycheck would be the demanded compensation.

In that case, threaten to sue HER for the medical costs AND the money due for your precious time. Don't forget to throw in a little extra for "emotional distress" to teach her a lesson!

coming from someone whom has had both a human and dog bite them: they most certainly do require stitches dependant on severity and location. the wound gets cleaned just like any other bite wound and you are placed on antibiotics.
Bite wounds can be debrided and stitched with no issues, we don't forgo stitches based on bacteria levels. It depends on the best applicable treatment for patient condition.

She knows how ****** up they are and just doesn't want to deal with them.
