Today, I noticed my 3 month old German shepherd pup chewing on something odd and white . Upon closer inspection, I realized it was my used bloody tampon that I had thrown away in the bathroom trash an hour ago. FML

Get some cheap ziplock bags and put used sanitary items in them. Keeps dogs from smelling them and digging them out, and also keeps the trash itself from smelling so much. Alternatively, relocate your trash can somewhere he can't get to it.
