Today, I moved in with my fiance's family while we look for a place in the area. His 19 year old sister keeps hiding the shampoo, soap and tooth paste. We're off to a good start. FML

Buy your own? Your fiancé's parents allowing you to move in was a courtesy. That doesn't mean their toiletries are as well. And it would appear that your soon to be sister in law agrees. Especially if you're using her shampoo, her soap, and her toothpaste. That's like having a roommate swoop in and devour the groceries you just bought without asking if it was okay. You don't do that. I'm sorry, but I definitely find this a YDI.

If it's ops shampoo soap and toothpaste then it's ****** up for soon to be sister-in-law to be hiding it.

keep everything in your own room. it's not ok of the sister to hide everything. , but to make a big thing about it would be weird too. if you're using expensive brands maybe shift to cheaper ones until you get your own place.
