I'm going to have to say you deserve it. There is not really a good excuse for that. If you knew you had something that important to go to today, you shouldn't have gone out the night before. If you 'absolutely had to', you should have paced yourself.
If she "had" to go out and drink, she may want to go to AA. She obviously would have an addiction if she "needed" to drink especially to an excessive limit.
And whose fault is that?

Her only role in life is to serve as a warning to others...?
At this rate yes.. If she gets her act together then.. We shall see...

They serve wine for communion, it will keep the buzz going till you get home!
Sad to say, you make the average godmother.
I have been to several baptisms. I am a godmother myself and I have never seen one that got so drunk the night before that they showed up to church hungover.
How sad that you were the one chosen to be the godmother.
That's okay, Catholics find it completely acceptable to get drunk.
Christ turned water into wine, it'd be a shame to let it go to waste

There's a "Holy Spirit" joke here somewhere.
I have nothing against having drinks once in awhile but if u knew you had a big responsibility why did you do it? Especially when ur supposed to be setting a good example for you nephew as his godmother.
