Today, I'm 37 weeks pregnant. My boyfriend thought catching Pokemon and getting drunk was more fun than my doctors appointment. In result, a nurse had to hold my hand while I held back tears when the doctor stuck his whole hand up my vagina during my pelvic exam. FML

I agree, Pokemon go and getting drunk sounds way more fun, and I think you would rather do that too, if you could choose. But sometimes you can't do what's fun. Sometimes you have to take care of the important stuff. Like being there for your loving girlfriend and your unborn child. I hope he will get his priorities straight before the baby is born.

Why would the doctor stick his whole hand up your ******?? Even when I was 37 weeks dilated to a 2 he only put two fingers in to check.... I had my kid the next week. I don't think the doctor is supposed to put his whole hand in... That is not normal by any means

Well, approximately 3 weeks to go. I hope he is a fast learner.

Depends, if the doctor had to move the baby in any way then they have to use their whole hand sadly.

maybe the dr only used a couple fingers and she was just saying his whole hand cause it definitely feels like it even when it's 1 or 2 fingers

it's cause the husband wasn't there fam. doctor took advantage of the situation cause he's into that sort of stuff

You should consider switching to another doctor.

You may want to talk to him about his responsibilities before the baby comes - you'll both be too tired afterwards to even think straight if my experience is anything to go by. My mother once needed to have a "you're a family man now" talk to my dad when I was tiny. That was 40+ years ago and he told me about it when I was maybe in my late 30s. He never forgot it and he never passed up a responsibility as a father from that day to his last. Hopefully your guy will react the same way.
