Today, I live on the mainland. My job is in Hawaii. Lucky, right? I have to leave my loved ones when I work there for a month at a time. When I get off work there, it's too late to call my family. While there, I'm working, waiting to go to work, or counting days until I can see my family. Now Hawaii is insisting I work Hawaii business hours while I'm home. 1PM to 10PM local time. So now I'm working, waiting to work or counting the hours until I can tuck my family into bed.. FML

I did the exact same thing. I put them to bed listening to waves cashing on Waikiki. BTW, get an ames black credit card that gets you into the crown club. You'll get free food and drimks. worth more than you pay for the credit card. I miss HI, though maybe not eworld.

Today, I found an injured rabbit by the side of the road. I was about to take it to the local vet, when my husband picked it up and casually snapped its neck. "No rabbit's worth my money" he said, forgetting that he's been a jobless moocher for over 3 years. Pass me the goddamn divorce papers. FML

Today, while taking a walk in the forest, someone approached me and asked to borrow the knife I had clipped to my pocket. I happily obliged, assuming he just needed it as a tool. Instead, he used the knife to mug me, taking my cellphone and my wallet. I was robbed with my own knife. FML

Today, as part of a charity project called Operation Valentine, I worked with 150 other volunteers to make care packages and Valentine's Day cards to send to the troops in Afghanistan, thanking them for their courage. My boyfriend called the cards "cheating" and now refuses to see me. FML
