Today, I learned that the prohect I spent the last six months working on was not only my boss's responsibility, but it was also his attempt to make it on to the corporate board. Oh, and he made on to the board for his "astounding and sophisticated organization and management skills." FML

I'm not going to pretend I know how the world works or what the best thing to do in this situation actually is, but maybe if you have evidence you should tell the people in charge and get recognition for your work.

Today, I had to have emergency work done on my teeth after I seized in the shower and smashed my face into the tub. Apparently, the dental insurance I'd been paying for but had never used ended its coverage 4 days ago, because my job was no longer working with them. FML

Today, I was talking to a colleague at a meeting, and I told him about my promotion and how the position was created specifically for me. I forgot that the guy works in HR, and he started questioning me about how the division was able to create the position, and said that he will need to look at it. FML
