I'm surprised it was that low
Awwww, you are afraid they will really get rid of Common Core (the biggest joke of a learning program around, seeing as it doesn't teach critical thinking), afraid of school vouchers (which would allow inner city students go to potentially better schools), the hopeful removal of teacher unions (which would in turn get rid of teacher tenure, the same thing that makes getting rid of shitty teachers impossible), or just the useless department of education as a whole (which honestly does nothing)? So many (hint hint, this is going to be a sarcastic statement seeing as you potentially like Common Core teaching and you can not critically think for yourself) bad ideas she could implement. Oh the world is going to end without Common Core.
Or they could be concerned about the fact that someone openly bought a government position, and what that means for the little integrity the government still has. How dare someone be concerned about the integrity of the government, the things that controls almost every aspect of their life! And how dare them be concerned that someone who bribed their way to their position could not follow through on any of the things they said hey would do! It's almost like they're applying the person's previous behavior to what they could do in the future!
Whoa Nellie! Take a breath, count to 10, and unknot those panties! Betsy DeVos can't even spell "Common Core" and therein lies the problem. She doesn't come from an educational background, and she sent her kids to private schools. Regardless of how you feel about common core, or the merits of charter schools over strengthening the public school system, DeVos is simply not qualified for this position, not to mention that she's worried that inner city schools will be attacked by murderous bears at any moment, resulting in the need to arm our teachers. Although, truth be told, in MY city (NYC), the rats do grow to awfully large, and ferocious enough to take on a small-ish bear, so maybe DeVos has a point there.
Must be a teacher afraid she'll offer parents school choice and they'll pull their kids out of her failing school and cost her a pay raise.
It's a comedy app, don't bring your political views to it
