Today, I have a horrible migraine. It's also the day work is being done under the house to fix the foundation, which means loud drilling right. Under. My. Head. I can't find earplugs, and with the migraine aura I can't see to drive anywhere to escape the noise. FML

And people like you are why it's difficult for so many people in the USA to get adequate long term pain management. Here's an idea: instead of using narcotics in a contraindicated way that is also a violation of narcotics safe use and thus against contract of many pain management clinics, ask your doctor about specialized treatments for migraines that don't worsen the already demonized image of people on narcotics for pain management. In addition to the above, alcohol is a migraine trigger, and also causes dehydration that is another trigger. So any relief you get from an alcoholic drink during a beverage is highly likely to be a result of you unintentionally using the placebo effect on yourself, or training yourself much like Pavlov's dog:

If it's really that terrible I think you'd find a way to escape. Pop some tylenol grab a bag of ice some music and go for a stroll.

Two Percocet and a few shots of Jack are my migraine go-to's.
