Today, I had to miss the last day of summer school for a mandatory event I had to attend, but because I'm not allowed to miss more than 1 hour, I ended up losing the entire course's credits. FML

It seems stupid that they'd make that rule, because people get sick, or they may have a higher priority one day

That's a dumb rule and I'd fight it. What was the mandatory event? And could it have actually waited until after the class?
