Today, I had the pleasure to get acquainted with my new upstairs neighbor. I was promptly greeted with a cigarette bud landing on my new wool coat, leaving ash spots everywhere. FML

Yup. Ever since he moved in there has been an increase of cigarette litter in front of my frontdoor. His balcony is just above my front door.

When meeting a new neighbor for the first time, never ever start a first impression with a complaint. (People usually only throw things at people who are complaining). Also butt* not bud.

Today, my roommate came home and began changing clothes in the same room that my boyfriend and I were in. I quickly got annoyed and angry and when I began questioning her about it she just laughed while saying, "Oh relax, it's not like he's never seen me naked before." FML

Today, my son brought his new girlfriend home. I took him aside and hugged him, reassuring him that I loved and accepted him no matter his sexual preference. He looked at me confused and asked what I meant. His girl was obviously trans, but he had no idea. I didn’t know he didn’t know. FML

Today, now our boys are older, my husband doesn’t care what they do. Apparently, if he knows what they’re doing, he’ll have to get off his chair and parent, which will annoy both him and the boys, so it’s easier to let the boys destroy their room, because at least then everyone but me is happy. FML
