Today, I got hit by a car going about 30mph and got injured. I had the right away and was in a crosswalk. But the cop decided he didn't like my criminal record and came to the hospital.. to give ME a ticket!? "to protect the driver so I can't sue" WTF!?! I'm supposed to pay for being hit by a car? FML

I would imagine you would be able to appeal but from what you've said I'm not surprised you're angry

Im sure i can. But yes I was pissed. I'm not one to look for free money and sue, but the point is they took that option from me even though I was pretty seriously injured. And on top of that expect me to pay 65$ for "running out in traffic" andbeing hit... this shit would be almost comical if it wasn't my life they were playing with.
