Today, I got herpes from my roommate. No, not by having sex, but from using my own towel after he used it himself, and not telling me. FML

That sounds extreme. Usually herpes virus can't live on surfaces for very long. Are you sure it was from the towel?

While it is true they are "tiny red bumps", and some 80-95 percent of the population will have herpes in some form (cold sores on lips/skin, genital herpes), even if they never show symptoms, those "tiny red bumps" are excruciating. I get cold sore and they suck, I can't imagine having them DOWN THERE O.O

oh relax it's just tiny red bumps. Granted yeah dick move your roommate's part. Relax though it's herpes not HIV. The bumps tend not even to occur until times of stress.
