There are a number of wrongs going on here. Firstly, we've got your snooping S.O.B coworker monitoring your activities..and then we've got you P.O.S. boss who decided that the right course of action was to tell you about the snooping. Sometimes being a boss means biting the bullet (being professional in a position of authority) and not adding to a stressful working environment. If your boss hadn't shared the info, you would have SUSPECTED that your coworker was snooping, but now you have CONFIRMATION about your coworker snooping. This creates a very hostile work place... it's bad for everyone. The fact that your coworker has a reputation for being a snoop is another example of your boss dropping the ball. Why is that coworker still working there?
