I just want to say something. I was on the other side of this FML, being portrayed as the "crazy alcoholic" by my ex husband. He only told the other girl that to gain sympathy. If he goes back to his ex, then obviously he knows what he said wasn't as bad as he made it out to be, or why else go back to her. As for the credit cards, YDI for giving access. And now there's no telling what horrible things he's saying about you to her to play the victim again.
YDI for giving him your credit cards/info.
Granted I'm commenting years late, but I hope that at this point you've had opportunity to a) see that dirtbag reap the rewards of his choices, and b) have matured in how you choose those whom you allow to share your life. You deserve better, I'm sure. Onward and upward, OP.
This is why I don't give anybody access to my money until we're married.
Are you sure it was his 'ex?' Or did that just happen to be how he said it after seeing you for awhile?

Can't you attempt to sue him or something for theft?
What a jerk. Sorry OP
