Today, I found out, I might end up paralyzed. How? A dog. I almost got killed by an excited dog jumping for joy to go outside and pee. FML

So, this story got even more interesting. I went to a spine specialist because my insurance changed. I gave him all the notes from the neurologist and I was terrified! This neurologist had told me I could end up paralyzed and my spinal cord was being compressed and I had bulging discs and a pinched nerve causing muscle spasms... The spine specialist looked at all of my stuff and told me flat out: He lied to you. Turns out that everything that has been happening? The tremors, headaches, fatigue, muscle pain, mood changes, and a slew of other symptoms are all long term side effects of the concussion! The neurologist had fabricated all these horrible problems and was trying to get me on painkillers and opioids, when that wasn't the problem at all! I'm furious! I've been terrified for MONTHS and he had taken MRIs to confirm it... so I spent over $1000 on tests I didn't need because this doctor lied to me! ... FML

Holy shit! What happened exactly? Did it knock you over a railing?

Didn't expect this to get noticed! It was very weird how it happened. I basically bent down to let the dogs out in pairs to go outside for their bathroom break and an 80lb+ dog got over excited. When he jumped at the gate he hit me directly in the face with his skull. This caused my head to jerk back. The doctor said it was basically like being punched in the face really hard or being in a car accident. I got a concussion, a bloody nose, and some spinal injuries. The spinal cord is being pinched and causing uncontrollable spasms in my arm. They told me it will probably get worse and if it does it could lead to paralysis. I had no idea something like this could happen...

That's awful!! Will the doctors be able to fix the pinching on your spine?
