Today, I found out (after 15 years of life) that a platypus is a real animal, not just a made-up creature on Phineas and Ferb.FML

This is so funny, but in a way, I sort of understand. The platypus is an odd and interesting animal. A semi aquatic, furry, mammal that lays eggs, has the nose of a duck, the tail of a beaver, the feet of otters, and is also venomous. If I had never seen clear proof that this animal exists, I might be skeptical too lol.

You're not a lost cause. Watch some PBS (Nature, Animals, Science). There's plenty of stuff that is not boring that you can find interesting.
