Today, I forgot to take my pain medication. When I got to work I got some bad news, and immediately following that bad news, my pain decided to quadruple and brought me to tears. Now, I look like a little bitch. FML

Sorry for the soapbox: please be very verbal with your physician or NP regarding the inadequacy of your prescription. Any kind of stress on the body will make you feel pain more profoundly, and a reasonable dose would allow for you to have some stress. This is not your fault and don't let anyone make you feel like it is. The government has become overzealous in targeting prescriptions to combat heroin use and the result is a lot of under-prescribed medication.
