well..****.
I have the same kind of herpes (only mine was on my back) and don't worry about it. it's not as annoying as mouth herpes because mine only happens every 8 or so years.
People need to stop making herpes sound horrible. It's treatable and extremely ******* common. All it is cold sores on certain areas of the body. Break outs don't even occur often...Assuming you actually try to take care of yourself. Suppressant therapy is typically used for people with highly occurrent breakouts (not many) and/or mothers about to give birth, so for -many-, lifetime medication is not needed. So many people have this and they have NO clue. A breakout could happen years after initial infection or not even at all. It's okay to talk about and life will go on. Stop the stigma.
Did you hear this on Adam Ruins Everything?
herpes on stomach? that's new. sorry to hear op.
Here's something that might make you feel better, herpes is not life threatening unless you have a compromised immune system and since there are about 50 comments here, statistically only 5 people who commented DON'T have some form of it. It's one of the most prevalent diseases on the planet who's only symptom usually is just a rash. Yeah it sucks but don't let it get you down.
Surprise!
(HSV-1) the most common STD and at least 80-90% of americans have it. Herpes on the skin is the same virus type that causes cold sores on the lips. It can be treated. A lot more people have it than you think and it can be treated. Don't feel too down OP
