Today, I confessed to cheating to my girlfriend. She decided to go up to the girl and ask her about it. The girl denied it and said she didn't even know me. My girlfriend walked up to me, called me a liar and punched me in the face. FML

You cheated and were so selfish as to tell your girlfriend. YD that and much more. Confessing may put you at ease with your guilt, but hurts the other person. If you cheat, you don't love your partner enough. End the relationship and avoid hurting him/her any more.

Well if a person chooses to cheat on his/her boyfriend/girlfriend there are no legal consequences and there is no divorce. The couple just simply breaks up so in that hand if you're not married then it doesn't really matter.

If you are in a relationship whether you are married or not and you pursue someone else you are in fact cheating. There is no excuse for it and I'm sure you would be saying differently if you had or have a partner that you have come to love cheated on you and left you for them.

All I am saying is that it is a whole lot better and without LEGAL problems if you're not married. Anyone who has ever been through a divorce can and will tell you that getting a divorce and just breaking up are two major different things. So I say if you're going to cheat do it while you're not married!

It would be better to just stay single if you are going to cheat. Yea a divorce makes it harder to leave a relationship or not but why be in a relationship and than cheat. If you wanna act like you are single than be single. If you are going to be in a relationship, than stay faithful to that person. It's really not that hard.
