I wrote this Latin phrase because of the OP's name. And it's an expression used when being betrayed by an unexpected person that you'd considered a close friend.

I just had to thumb this up for the great reference to Julius Caesar who either said or was the inspiration for many useful phrases like, "beware the Ides of March," "The die is cast and we have crossed the Rubicon," and "Veni, vidi, vici (I came, I saw, I conquered)." Hmmmm Caesar's mother lived and raised him so I wonder if he was actually born through a c-section. In those days, she probably wouldn't have survived. But hell yeah, let's hear it for those salads!

I agree! I went through the same shit with my sons dad at work and I had to find out from other co workers that he was cheating on me with a co worker that got to close to my son and I ( she was at my house, he was taking my car to bring her in dates ect.) and she knew I was with him at the time. I hope you don't have kids until you mature OP and if its so hard to stay faithful to someone who is to you than be single and don't lead the poor girl on. People like you take for granted what they have and than complain when it's gone. I hope you break up with her for her sake because if she didn't break up with you, I'm sure your bound to cheat again now that you know you can get away with it with just a slap on the wrist.
